This typology of projects allows to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and legality of procedures and formalities involved in the area of administrative simplification within public administrations. This transformation is imperative in order to move towards the new challenges which the common administrative procedures and transparency laws pose, both with regard to services and to formalities and procedures.
On the one hand, Administrative Simplification improves civil service by streamlining the workload, encouraging digital management and through interoperability. On the other hand, it benefits citizen by saving them from travelling and reducing documentary requirements.
This methodology consists on process reengineering on the basis of the description of the initial situation, as well as on the development of an action plan for the implementation of improvements and the impact assessment through savings quantification.
